Nov 13, 2024 01:00 pm
Studies show that deliberately copying a relaxed breathing pattern can calm the nervous system that controls the body’s involuntary functions. Learning some simple breathwork techniques may cause positive physiological changes that include: Lowered blood pressure and heart rate, reduced levels of stress hormones in the blood, reduced lactic acid build- up in muscle tissue, balanced levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood, increased physical energy and increased feelings of calm and wellbeing.
Learn how our bodies respond to stress and how our breathing patterns change as a result. Finally, we will experience three different types of breathwork techniques together and learn how to set up a practice of your own. It is simple!
